		<description>Sir, In India, I worked as ART officer for two months, and any patient having CD4 count less than 200 was advised ART. Off course, the patients had side effects like nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite in initial few weeks, but later on the tolerated it well.

 The most important problems the Centre came across were non-adherence as the patients were not following up treatment properly. Cauldbeck et al (2009) studied adherence to ART among HIV patients in Bangalore, India. Non-adherence is one of the most important factors in the development of resistance to ART. 
 
I am agreed that it is better to start ART at the earliest in taking clinical and immunological parameters into account.“The idea of living in happy symbiosis with this virus is delusional,”
